Wood Engraving by Geoffrey Needell (1886-1974)

A Colour Woodcut from the estate of the artist sold at auction in London last year. A lot of his work
has only become available since his death. He was born in London and was primarily a painter in oils
and watercolour. A number of copies of this print were available, all printed in different combinations
of colours. He donated a quantity of his woodcuts to the British Museum.
