1. Why you were looking forward to going to the ground (or not as the case may be)

I was looking forward to going to Darlington as I knew it was large state of the art stadium that looked neat and tidy from the pictures.

2. How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking

I went on the away supporters travel coach, it took around 3 1/2 hours to get there on a Tuesday night.

3. What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?

As it was a night game and without much time to spare I purchased a ticket and entered the stadium as soon as possible.

4. What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then other sides of the ground
.:

The ground was large, state of the art and very attractive looking. Its certainly out of place for League 2.

5. Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc..

The game was quite a good entertaining game, disappointing because we lost 2-0. There was a large screen in the away end corner which showed the game live. The atmosphere was bland because there was only 2,628 which is about 1/10th full of capacity. Stewards were the norm, telling you to sit down when you stood up which was a problem as for a new stadium the leg room is one of the worst I've experienced at any stadium. I had a Cornish pasty which was good value and tasted good, I had pint which was ok, the norm served in a plastic glass. During half time I had a soup out of a vending machine which was your typical vending machine soup. Toilets were clean and tidy.

6. Comment on getting away from the ground after the game:

We left the ground as soon as everyone was back on the bus.

7. Summary of overall thoughts of the day out:

It was long day, although we lost I enjoyed it and it was another stadium ticked off my list, I probably won't go back to Darlington again unless we were in such of a position as we needed a win to gain promotion, big cup tie, play offs or escape relegation.
