Barnet

Directions

Leave the M25 at J23. Take the A1081 towards Barnet. Follow this road for about three miles. Continue towards Barnet as the road becomes the A1000. The the ground is at the foot of Barnet Hill near to the junction with Station Road (A110). Street Parking or there is a car park at High Barnet Underground Station (£3).

Pubs

There is The Old Red Lion, just behind the north entrance to Underhill. Situated up in the town at the top of Barnet Hill are the Moon Under Water and the King John, and down the bottom of the hill (under the Underground bridge) are the Queen's Arms and The Weaver. Steve Smith adds: 'if you come into New Barnet railway station, then opposite is a Wetherspoons pub called the Railway Bell, which has a good selection of beer'.
'The Beehive' & 'Crimea' are the closest pubs to the ground.

By Train/Tube

The nearest tube station is High Barnet which is on the Northern Line. There is only five minutes walk down Barnet Hill to the ground (although it is a fair hike back up the hill after the game!). Alternatively you can take a quicker train to New Barnet railway station, which is around fifteen minutes walk away from the ground. This station is served by trains from London Kings Cross and is a shorter journey time than the tube, taking around 20 minutes from Central London

Anthony Hammond adds; 'Coming out of New Barnet station turn right and then left into Station Road. Walk up to the traffic lights opposite the Odeon Cinema and turn right onto Barnet Hill (A1000). After going under a railway bridge, you will be able to see the ground behind the Old Red Lion pub on your left. Alternatively you can get a bus from New Barnet Station; the 84, 384 or 107 buses run every 15 minutes or so from New Barnet to Underhill'.
