I run bridge for absolute beginners and improvers at locations in and around Central London. I offer evening, weekend and daytime bridge and there is sure to be a group that suits you. All our venues are near tube stations.

BEGINNER CLASSES

Learn Bridge In A Weekend
Learn Bridge in a Weekend is a 2-day course for absolute beginners, usually held in Earls Court SW5. This course is the recommended route for quicker learners. No prior knowledge required but during the weekend you will learn the basics of bridge bidding and card play.

I enjoy teaching this course and have had a lot of success with it. Learn the basics of bridge quickly and effectively. After the course you should be able to join one of our improver groups. Next dates:

Bridge Basics Redux
Bridge Basics Redux is a 2-day course for players who know the mechanics of the game but have less than one year's experience (or have only played ‘kitchen bridge’ at home). The course starts with a thorough look at the bidding system from scratch, with each family of bids being accompanied by a set of practice deals. The course is held in Earls Court SW5. Next dates:

IMPROVER CLASSES
The best way to improve is to play with other people. I host a number of bridge groups that meet in informal venues (e,g. the pub!) where you can come and play without trepidation and with advice and support available as needed. Many players who have been through this route now play regularly in 'proper' bridge clubs. Click here for details of sessions and venues..
